(UPDATE, December 24): One of our iPhones may be stolen. The shops in Lisboa close early on Christmas Eve, and after running errands this morning, one of our iPhones 15 Pro Max goes missing. A thorough search of the apartment turns up nothing.
Using our iPads, we set the missing iPhone to 'Lost Mode'. Then, using the 'Find My' app, we determine that it's near the Fonte Luminosa. With some trepidation, we decide to see if the iPhone is actually there. Again, using the 'Find My' app, we tell the missing iPhone to 'Play Sound'. As we ascend the stairs on the north side of the Fonte, we begin to hear the pinging. At the top of the stairs, we pinpoint the source in the corner of a planting bed. We push the leaves aside, dig down a little, and uncover a white plastic shopping bag; inside is a clear baggie containing the iPhone.
We clean it and reset some of the services disable by the 'Find My' app. It seems as good as new – é um milagre de Natal!
