Amsterdam – STRAAT

We're in Amsterdam (pop 946,447 in 2026) for a few days to meet-up with family. But we are able to squeeze in a few museum visits between meals and get togethers.

In a city famous for its museums, we start with an unusual choice, the STRAAT Museum (NDSM) in Amsterdam-Noord. Luckily, there's a free ferry from Amsterdam Centraal station to the other side of the Het IJ.
